Burmese Pythons and the Florida Everglades
Focusing on removing the invasive Burmese Pythons from the Florida Everglades and protecting the native wildlife. In 2017, Dan and Lindsey Floyd became Python Contractors for the State of Florida. Mike Strauss has been their Python Assistant, helping with the hunt every step of the way. As a Team, they got second place in the 2020 State Python Challenge for the most pythons removed during the competition. Dan and Lindsey also ranked second place in the 2022 State Python Challenge for removing the second largest python of the competition.
